The Highest Goal

For a ruling Bureaucracy, the possession of power is the highest goal, and to keep and strengthen it's power is the paramount aim of it's policy.

I have heard a rumour that the same people who have ordered me not to confront anyone on the psychiatric hospital staff also told that staff not to talk about "It" nor admit to anything. It is further rumoured that this decision came right from the top.

The real problem is what to do with the problem solvers after the problem is solved.

( I can't help but wonder if one of Erich's colleagues urged an intervention after that "robot" remark?? It sounds dangerously similar to something one of "us" is always saying doesn't it?)
